Who we are…
The Hellenic Australian Chamber of Commerce & Industry Northern Territory (HACCI NT) was established in 2019 to support and strengthen the economic and cultural ties between Australia and Greece. As a volunteer‑led organisation, we provide a trusted platform for members to connect, share insights and engage with the broader Hellenic business community.
Our professional and business network in the Northern Territory is shaped by innovative, multi‑generational enterprises working across diverse sectors. Rooted in regional Australia, our members bring deep local knowledge, resilience and a hands‑on commitment that contributes meaningfully to the Territory’s economic and social fabric. Through purposeful engagement and online community connections, we share resources, highlight opportunities and support one another — turning regional strengths into collective advantage and helping build a more connected and confident future for Hellenic business in the NT.
As part of the HACCI National Federation, we contribute to a coordinated national approach that connects Hellenic business communities across Australia. Through the Federation, we are also linked to formal Memoranda of Understanding with major chambers of commerce in Greece — the Athens Chamber of Commerce & Industry, the Piraeus Chamber of Commerce & Industry, the Thessaloniki Chamber of Commerce & Industry — as well as SEVE, the Greek Exporters Association. These relationships provide context, insight and pathways for engagement, supporting our members’ interests without overstating our role in cross‑border activity.

Engagements & Initiatives
Our engagement program is purposeful and measured, reflecting the volunteer‑led nature of HACCI NT and our commitment to delivering value where it matters most. Each year we host a small number of focused information sessions, networking opportunities and targeted communications that keep members connected to market developments, policy changes and practical resources relevant to the Northern Territory.
We maintain constructive relationships with government agencies, industry partners and our colleagues across the HACCI National Federation, helping us stay connected to national priorities and emerging opportunities. Our links to chambers of commerce in Greece provide useful context and insight that inform our understanding of cross‑border developments, without overstating our role in international activity.
Professional development remains an important part of our mission. From time to time we facilitate conversations and mentorship opportunities for young Hellenic professionals and entrepreneurs, helping to build capability and confidence within our community. Complementing these efforts, we offer light‑touch business support — such as introductions, guidance and signposting — ensuring members can access networks and information that strengthen their commercial and professional pathways.
